I worked with Anand at (then) Acumen Solutions, now a Salesforce company. We were both staffed together on the Veteran's Affairs government client, jointly working with Liberty IT Solutions. It was my first government client engagement. I started as a Senior BA with limited experience, so quickly looked for more experienced mentors at Acumen. Anand's name popped up as someone who not only had a strong skillset & breadth of knowledge, but that was someone who would be willing to help, teach, and develop skills of his team. When I came on board as a new Senior business analyst for a multi-million dollar public sector project, a high volume work load fell to the team on a tight time schedule. Initial requirements for testing increased ten-fold due to new client input and leadership looked to us for a plan on how to resolve the need for testing quickly and efficiently.
Within hours, Anand developed an organized a plan that provided the necessary guidance our team needed in order to complete the QA process before the demonstration due date. He analyzed the overlap in testing criteria and grouped the tests accordingly. Although our Agile team worked late into the night to complete our QA task, a challenge that was deemed insurmountable by more experienced analysts, was completed that very day. Along the way, Anand provided continued input and frequent check-ins to the team.
It is challenges like these that make me think about Anand. He approaches these matters with a calm demeanor and a high analytic ability. He is driven to succeed but works to ensure the team succeeds along with him. I have worked in higher education and technology projects in the past but cannot remember a time when an issue was resolved in this way.
Anand and I became fast friends and his work philosophy has proven to be an asset to our company and a motivating force for me. He would be a moving force on any team and comes with my highest recommendation.
